Fantasy Kingdom brings a little bit of Disneyland to Bangladesh. It is one of the most spectacular amusement parks in the country and has become a great tourist attraction in Dhaka. South Asia had never before experienced an enjoyment park of such a grand scale and it took the creativity, dedication and promise from hundreds of workers, artists and sculptors to bring this world of entertainment and thrills to life.
Visitors to the Fantasy Kingdom amusement park will also find a four-star luxury hotel at the park that has two hundred rooms, condominiums and its very own resort city. Souvenir shops, merchandise stores and food vendors are all located inside the park walls, so visitors are able to browse after they have enjoyed their adventure rides. Unfortunately, not many of the locals of Bangladesh are able to afford the entry fee into the park. Most of the community has never even set foot past the entrance, and many of the visitors that get to enjoy Fantasy Kingdom are foreigners. But hopefully the influx of foreigners to the park will boost the tourism industry and economy of the region, so that one day, everyone will be able to enjoy the excitement and adventure of Fantasy Kingdom.
Thirty kilometers off the Dhaka city on the way to Savar and about five kilometers off the Zia International Airport, the theme park Fantasy Kingdom owned by Concord group were formally opened on Feb.19.2002. By this time, it has gained popularity both from the kids and from adults.
Fantasy kingdom now offers 1500 feet long roller coaster, a big flume ride, Santaramaria Viking ship, Arabian flying carpet, racehorses, crazy bumps, a big video game arcade etc.

I went with 20 family members and cousins. We had a wonderful time. I had no idea there was such a wonderful theme park in Dhaka. The art work and landscaping is amazing. We spent one hour on the go-kart track. It was really thrilling!

From the very begening to start fantasy amusement park I went several times to Fantasy with my family and enjoyed much more. Specialy in Bangladesh its the best place for amusement for Child, Young and Older together as well because of very close similiarity with the other best amusement park in the world. I realy feel proud to have an amusement park like FANTASY in Dhaka!!!!
